Quick Breakfast Porridge with Fruits

This nourishing porridge with berries/fruits of choice & seeds provides you with a truly delicious start to your day. It can be easily adapted to be vegan or gluten-free by using nut milk or gluten-free oats. It is packed with iron, fiber, calcium and potassium.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup oats
  • 1 cup coconut milk
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1 teaspoon nut butter of your choice
  • 2 tablespoons of our Superseed booster Mix
  • 4 to 5 ripe bananas, peeled and sliced
  • 1 handful of berries/fruit of your choice

Directions

    1. In a small saucepan, combine the rolled oats with coconut milk and water and bring to a boil.
    2. Reduce the temperature and simmer for 10 minutes or until the liquid has been mostly absorbed. Stir constantly to prevent it from burning. You can adjust the consistency to your liking by adding more or less liquid.
    3. Stir in the nut butter and top with berries/fruit of your choice.
    4. Sprinkle Nutrovalley's Superseed Booster Mix.
    5. Serve immediately.
